Epic IR controllers

The Epic Sky Technology's EP-IRE IR Extender extends infrared capability by converting IR signals to digital data, which can then be read from any PC or RS232 serial port. The EP-IRE is designed for use with various IR input devices to capture IR commands that can be recorded, played back, and used to initiate actions across a network. For the first time, an IR device, such as a remote control, can be used as an input device for equipment control throughout the home. For instance, by pressing a button on your bedroom remote you can adjust lighting, set your home’s temperature, and lower shades. The EP-IRE is the first IR extender able to support the full IR frequency spectrum from 30KHz to 500KHz.

The EP-BL is designed for use with theEpic Sky Technology's EP-100 Network Adapters to transmit IR signals across a room up to 40 feet. No power supply or connecting block is required for use. With an IR modulation frequency range of 30 – 500 kHz, and transmitting up 40 feet, the EP-BL is the obvious solution to any IR signal strength problem. The EP-BL employs a standard 3.5mm stereo plug and 6ft cable for easy connection and installation for use with the EP-100 Network Adapter.
